Here is a sneak a peek of the new paintings for the fall exhibition at Stephen Lowe gallery. October 9th is a private event for members of the Bow Valley club and on October 10th the exhibition will be open to the public.
On the top left is a painting of the road that goes to Elbow Falls west of Calgary. The aspens in the square painting are on the shoreline of the small lake near Canmore. The view from the ridge was taken by Lewis and Terry on their hike last summer. The smaller falls painting is from a hike in Sunshine Meadows. The larger falls painting is from a photo I took in the Misty Fijords in Alaska. Alonside the smaller falls piece is a view of the road as it leads into the Ya Ha Tinda ranch. The smaller ones are oils on boards and the larger ones are acrylic.
Will post the larger images at the beginning of October. To see the full size of the show images seen here, click on the image.
